The Roll of the Dice

That's right. This year for the GMTK game jam, I made a whole game based on a stupid pun that I came up with. 

Unfortunately, only one fight is playable right now, as I did everything but the art  this time around (thanks to Josie Schicker for the character designs and Simon O'Connell for emergency dice sprites). 

All in all, it could've gone worse. I'm just glad that I have a functional proof of concept (the music also turned out pretty well which I'm thankful for).

How To Play

At the beginning of each battle you get dice (that get progressively more and more wacky) that you can add to your dice pool.

You then split the dice off into health slots to give you more health or defense, or keep them in the attack pool to use during the fight. 

Roll the dice by vigorously clicking, dragging, and releasing one of the two dice icons in the bottom right (sometimes this can be a little buggy; if the dice disappears or is otherwise messed up, just wait about ten seconds and it should right itself). 

If you run out of health (the line of D6s in the bottom left), then it's back to the title screen!
